International conference of the Rotterdam Maritiem Museum and the Erasmus Center for Early Modern Studies in cooperation with Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in celebration of five years Erasmus Center fEMS; of the collaboration between Maritiem Museum, Erasmus Center fEMS, and Corpus Christi College; of the beginning of the Erasmus Research Master in Early Modern Intellectual History; and of the conclusion of the NWO-Research Project 'Conquest, Competition, and Ideology'.
