Before September 2005, this part of our website had a life of its own as a digital biography of Erasmus. That website was created in 2001 by initiative of Erasmus University Rotterdam. It was developed by Hic & Nunc. All texts were written by Hester Overmars and Maarten Reith. They were supported by prof.dr. Jan van Herwaarden (EUR) and prof.dr. Marlite Halbertsma (EUR). Our texts here about Erasmus in all his aspects are based on the texts of that former digital biography.
In 2010 some texts were adapted.
